Flocking Arts presents Leaving by Philip Osment

In the heart of rural Monaghan, Una and Paddy have raised two sons who couldn’t be more different: Sean, grounded and grafting, the kind of man who carries the farm on his back; and Noel, quiet, thoughtful, and gone to the bright promise of UCD. Deirdre, their old school pal, loves them both. When Noel returns home unexpectedly from college, their lives are thrown into chaos.

Leaving is a powerful, intimate drama about belonging, heartbreak, and the cost of choosing your own path.

The original production of Leaving premiered in the Garage Theatre 2002 produced by Quare Hawks Theatre. With this new production directed by Barry McSkeane, Flocking Arts are excited to bring this beautifully written play back to life.
