BALLYBAY COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRESENTS THE SINGLE MAN A MURDER MYSTERY SPOOF BY DON ZOLIDIS
8 February, 2024 @8:00 pm
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 8TH @ 8PM. TICKETS FROM SCHOOL OFFICE
Following the success of last year’s Transition Year production of The Outsiders, Ballybay Community College is back! Determined to get this year’s audience laughing out loud, this TY cast and crew have chosen a side-splitting comedy written by Don Zolidis, the most-produced playwright in American schools. His more than 100 published plays have been produced more than 11,500 times, appearing in every state and 63 countries. This production of The Single Man will have a uniquely Irish take on the subject matter and guarantees a very entertaining night of theatre and fun!
After a death threat is found on the set of the hit television show, The Single Man, the producers strike upon a brilliant idea: Have suave mustachioed investigator Henri Poisson fill in for the terrified bachelor in order to root out the presumptive killer. But with eight single ladies vying for his attention on the show, will Poisson be able to discover the killer in time? Who will get the rose, and who will get the thorns? A hilarious murder mystery spoof.
