The Garage Theatre warmly welcome back the company and the writer who brought 'Who By Fire' to audiences across Ireland and Europe comes a new play. Corner Boys, full of laugher, love, missed opportunities and tragedy. It's 1963 in a small Irish town shop
assistants Alice and Mary fantasise about President John F Kennedy who's viisting the country. On the street corners, however, a cynical and more desperate life is being lived by Harry and Sparrow, two corner boys. In the church the Parish Priest tells his parshioners how their lives should be lived. The Seasons pass and everything changes. In America, president Kennedy is assassinated. In the small town love and jealousy rear their heads with sometimes hilarious and sometimes tragic consequences. A warm insightful and challenging piece of theatre.
