Shaylyn is a unique Irish Dance Company and Irish Dance Show that has expanded thanks to cross border funding to develop a dedicated Traditional Performing Arts Centre.
Shaylyn celebrates the evolution of Irish Dance from earliest beginnings in ancient Ireland to the present day and brings together the best of traditional dancers, singers and musicians from the central border region for this exhilarating two hour show with dances set to soul stirring music, songs that illustrate the changing mood of times past and a story to make you proud!
Shaylyn provide a unique platform creating opportunities for musicians, singers and dancers to increase their skills through shared performance. The Shaylyn Group Ltd project is working to establish and promote the central border region as a recognized ‘area of excellence’ in Irish Dance, Music & Song and encourage our communities to place a higher value on our traditional performing arts.
